Scales, slithers, and surprises took center stage at Dennis Branch Library some time ago as Dominic Rizzo of Rizzo’s Reptile Discovery brought his wild crew to kick off the library’s month-long reading club. Families and kids gasped, giggled, and learned during the high-energy show, where turtles, snakes, and other critters became the ultimate reading ambassadors.
Franklin Library
FRANKLIN — Move over, Hollywood — the real reptilian stars took center stage at Franklin Library a while back! A crowd of 80 eager participants quickly outgrew the indoor space, forcing the scaly summer reading kickoff to relocate outside. And honestly? The snakes seemed thrilled to trade air conditioning for some sunshine.

Union County, NJ – The Union County Board of Commissioners invites residents of all ages to meet live animals, celebrate wildlife, and embrace environmental conservation at a fun and educational event in honor of Earth Day at Union County’s Trailside Nature and Science Center, located in the Watchung Reservation at 452 New Providence Road in Mountainside.
“Our Earth Day event provides residents and visitors of all ages with an opportunity to celebrate the Earth as a community while enjoying the outdoors with family and friends,” said Board of Commissioners Chairman Alexander Mirabella.
